Clogged nozzles in the head
PROBLEM REMEDY
Clear the nozzles with a tungsten wire carefully from the back to the
front (
The tungsten wire supplied by the manufacturer must be
used only !!!
).
Fasten the nozzle plate with screws taking care not to damage
rubber gaskets or shutters.
Install the slipper.
Set the ink pressure to its rating value, switch the printer on, and
remove air from the head system - see section
6.2 Removing Air
from the Ink System

NOTE:
The above operations need to be performed under strictly clean
conditions.
Do not leave any foreign objects under the nozzle plate.
If the plate is fastened improperly, the nozzles may get
damaged (ruby tip may break).
Some dots are much smaller than others or are missing

The solenoid valve corresponding to a faulty nozzle may be out of
order. Try to adjust the valve electromagnet following the procedure
below.

NOTE:
The procedure should be performed by trained staff authorised to service EBS Printers.

Remove the head housing – see section
2.4 Removing the Head Cover

Fix the head without the housing (a special service holder from the Manufacturer can be used).
Place adsorbent cloth and a dish behind the head.
3.
Create a sample text file (a graphic file would be the best). It should be 1-dot wide and as high as
possible for the given head type.
