B. To Remove the Input Shaft.

1. Move the drive gear and shaft forward as far as

possible.

3. Push down on input shaft to cock bearing in

bore. Drive input shaft toward rear of transmiss-
ion, through bearing as far as possible. Pull in-
put shaft forward to expose snap ring of bear-
ing.
