8.2 Derating of ampacity

Fig. 9 shows the derating of the max. total current of 12-channel semi-conductor
version over the ambient temperature.

Fig. 10 shows the derating of the ampacity per load output at max. total current over
the ambient temperature.
The ampacity of the single channels can be increased by a reduced total current.

Cable cross sections must be adjusted to the actual current and the operating
temperature conditions. The temperature behaviour of the device improves
with larger cross sections.
