Inbetriebnahme des Modells
Während dieser Zeit flackert die grüne Kontroll-LED (a) und
der Helikopter sollte während dieser Zeit nicht bewegt wer-
den.
Ist der Abgleich abgeschlossen, laufen die beiden Taumel-
scheiben-Servos in die Neutralstellung und die Kontroll-LED
leuchtet ständig. Zur besseren Übersicht wurde für das Bild
die Kabinenhaube des Helikopters abgenommen.
Setzen Sie vor dem Flug die Kabinenhaube auf, da sie für
einen korrekten Schwerpunkt unbedingt erforderlich ist.
Antennenverlegung
Wickeln Sie den Antennendraht ab.
Stellen Sie eine Zugentlastung her, indem Sie den Anten-
nendraht mit Klebeband am Rumpf fixieren.
Führen Sie die Überlänge des Antennendrahtes locker wie-
der nach hinten und sichern Sie ihn.
ACHTUNG! Der Antennendraht darf in keinem
Fall so verlegt werden, dass er während des
Fluges in drehende Teile gelangen kann.
Ausbalancieren des Modells
ACHTUNG! Der Helikopter muss korrekt ausba-
lanciert sein. Bei falscher Schwerpunktlage ver-
lieren Sie die Kontrolle über das Modell!
Der Schwerpunkt des Heli-Modells sollte exakt auf der Drehachse
des Hauptrotors (Hochachse) liegen.
Im Schwerpunkt kreuzen sich alle Drehachsen (Hoch-/Längs-
Querachse) des Modells (13).
Während des Fluges müssen sich die Rotorblätter durch die
Fliehkraft von selbst ausrichten können. Darum dürfen für den
Flugbetrieb die Halteschrauben nur so fest angezogen werden,
dass die Rotorblätter noch nach unten abklappen können,
sobald Sie Ihr Modell zur Seite kippen.
Zum Überprüfen des Wuchtzustandes und zum
Ausbalancieren des Modells müssen die Rotor-
blätter aber vorübergehend um 180° zueinander
ausgerichtet fixiert werden.
Weiterhin muss die Kabinenhaube aufgesetzt
sein!
Überprüfen Sie den Wuchtzustand der Rotorblätter.
Richten Sie die Rotorblätter um 180° zueinander aus und
fixieren Sie die Rotorblätter vorübergehend, durch Anziehen
der Halteschrauben.
Hängen Sie den Heli am Rotorkopf, mittig über dem Dreh-
punkt auf.
Der Heli darf nicht nach vorne oder hinten kippen, egal in
welcher Position sich die Hauptrotorblätter befinden.
Wenn sich die Nase senkt, ist das Modell kopflastig.
Verschieben Sie den Flugakku geringfügig nach hinten.
Wenn sich das Heck absenkt, verschieben Sie den Flugakku
nach vorne, um den Schwerpunkt einzustellen.
Sichern Sie den Flugakku, wenn Sie die optimale Schwer-
punktlage ermittelt haben.

Getting started with the model
During this time, the green control LED (a) flickers and the heli-
copter should not be moved during this period of time.
When the alignment is completed, both swash plate servos run
in the neutral position and the control LED flashes continuously.
For a better overview, the canopy of the helicopter is not illus-
trated in the figure.
Before flying, install the canopy as the latter is absolutely neces-
sary for a correct centre of gravity.
Installation of antenna
Unwind the antenna wire.
Relieve the strain by fixing the antenna wire just behind the
receiver with scotch tape.
Guide the excessive length of the antenna wire loosely on
the rear side and secure it .
ATTENTION! Do not install the antenna wire in
such a way that it will get caught in rotating parts
during the flight.
Counterbalancing the model
ATTENTION! The helicopter must be correctly
counterbalanced. If the position of the center of
gravity is not correct, you will lose control over
the model!
The center of gravity of the helicopter model should be exactly
on the axis of rotation of the main rotor (yaw axis).
All the axes of rotation will cross in the center of gravity (vertical
/ longitudinal / lateral axis) of the model (13).
During the flight, the rotor blades must be able to align them-
selves with the centrifugal force. Hence, the retaining screws
must be tightened for the flight operation such that the rotor
blades can still fold downwards as soon as your model tilts to
the side.
The rotor blades must be temporarily aligned at
180° for the inspection of the alignment status
and balancing the model.
Also, the canopy must be put on!
Check the balance of the rotor blades.
Align the rotor blades at 180° to one another and fix the rotor
blades temporarily by tightening the retaining screws.
Suspend the helicopter on the rotor head in the centre above
the centre of motion.
The helicopter should not tilt to the front or back, irrespective
of the position of the main rotor blades.
When the nose is lowered, the model becomes nose-heavy.
Push the flight battery slightly behind.
When the rudder is lowered, push the flight battery to the
front and adjust the center of gravity.
Fix the flight battery after determining the optimum position
of the center of gravity.
