If you keep touching the
[ + ]
or
[ - ]
sensor for over 1 second, the heating power will be increased or reduced
continuously by 1.
4. Every cooking zone can be switched off (deactivated) by touching both sensors,
[ + ]
and
[ - ]
at the same
time, regardless of the set heating power or by touching the [-] sensor until “0” appears.
Tips:
-
When the hob is switched on with the main ON/OFF switch, all the cooking zones control sensors are active
(ready for operation). If none of the sensors is touched within 10 seconds, the hob is switched off
automatically.
-
By setting the heating power from 1 to 9 we force a pulse operation of the cooking zone, which practically
means that when the cooking zone is not burning gas (several up to several dozens seconds in one cycle),
it gives up heat to the dish pot, saving up gas.
-
In order to heat up a cooking zone quickly, touch sensor
[ - ]
located under the cooking zone you want to
use with a finger and set it to „
9.
”, the maximal cooking zone power.
-
After putting in a new gas cylinder or after a break in the gas supply, the hob may take longer to start up,
because of air present in the gas supply system. It may be also accompanied by a sound (snorting), which
is a completely safe and normal phenomenon.
-
1 to 3 seconds after switching on any power setting, the cooking zone starts to burn gas (cooking zone
under the ceramic hob heats up and becomes red-hot after heating).
If the burner (hot plate) does not light up at the hob power level indicator for that particular
plate, the letter “G” will be displayed (
see: gas leak protection
). In such a situation, please wait for at
least 60 seconds before making a new attempt to engage the hot plate (burner).
The power of a cooking zone is controlled by switching the zone on and off in cycles. Table 1 presents a work
cycle of a cooking zone by power setting.

Switching off cooking zones
i. To switch off, touch both sensors
[ + ]
and
[ - ]
of the selected cooking zone.
ii. The selected cooking zone can also be switched off by touching
[ - ]
sensors until “0” digit appears of the
display.
iii. Touching sensor ON/OFF (item 1 Fig. 2) when a cooking zone (zones) is in operation, switches off all the
cooking zones.
After a cooking zone (zones) is switched off there might be “H” letter displayed on the displays (item 7, 8 Fig. 2)
which shows that the cooking zone is still hot (see: Residual heat indicator).
