FHZ System (Flexible Heating Zone)
The innovatory GCH 5.01.SD/2 ceramic gas hob has a system of cooking zones called Flexible Heating Zone
(FHZ). The FHZ cooking zone allows to use the zone for cooking in pots of various bottom diameter, ranging
from – to (see Table No. 2).

Gas leak protection
GCH 5.01.SD/2 ceramic hob has several systems
guaranteeing the highest possible standards of safety,
including a system protecting from gas leaks. It is a
proven and well-tested solution consisting in continuous
control of the gas burning process, using the ionization
phenomenon.
In case of any problems with initiation of the burning
process (e.g. broken spark generator) or any
disturbances in the gas burning process, the gas leak
protection system will immediately (within a fraction of a
second) cut off the gas supply. Thanks to a continuous
control of the gas burning process, the control panel
informs about any disturbances by showing “
G
” letter on
the heating power display of the cooking zone the
problem applies to and emitting a short beep. Such
condition automatically blocks the operation of the
appliance until the reason that trigged the protection is
found.
To find out how the cancel the protection
blockage see “
Procedure in emergency situations”
Tips:
“
G
” letter displayed may also result from
shortage of gas in the cylinder or the gas supply system.
