Power supply system
Connect the cables paying special attention to polarity ! Improper connection of
the hob feed terminals to the feed cable may cause damage to the hob!
In order to ensure correct and safe operation of GCH 5.01.SD/2 ceramic gas hob, the hob should be
supplied with 12 V DC power supply.
To connect the hob to the mains use the two-wire cable 1.5 mm

, ended with terminals: red (“
+
”pole)
and black (“
-
“pole), the hob is already provided with.
The electric circuit must be protected with 4 A safety fuse (not supplied with the hob).
The wiring diagram of connection of GCH 5.01.SD/2 ceramic gas hob to the mains is shown on Fig. 4.

Under no circumstances may the appliance be connected to 230V mains, as it would
damage the electric and electronic components and might result in danger to the user.
Inspection and control of gas and power supply system and ventilation system.
To ensure proper and safe operation of GCH 5.01.SD/2 ceramic gas hob one should control the condition of
the gas and power supply system as well as the ventilation system, including their technical conditions. In
case of finding any technical faults in the specified systems, please immediately call up a specialized service
center.
Installation of the ceramic hob
To ensure proper operation of the ceramic hob and that it is not damaged in
use, it should be properly ventilated at all times. Installing the hob within cabinets
without ensuring proper supply of fresh air is forbidden.
IT IS FORBIDDEN TO USE MODELLING PASTES (SUCH AS SILICONE MATERIALS) THAT SEAL
THE EDGES OF CERAMIC PLATES WITH TABLE TOPS. IN CASE OF SERVICE WORKS, THE
MANUFACTURER AND THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE (SUCH
AS TABLE TOP OR CERAMIC PLATE DAMAGE) RESULTING FROM THE FAILURE TO OBSERVE THE
ABOVE WARNING.
Do not install the appliance near flammable materials.
