Strictly observe instructions and guidelines specified in the Manual. Do not let the hob to be operated by
persons who have not read the contents of the Manual as thus you shall remain safe and avoid hob
damage.

Do not let children play with the hob. Direct contract with hob under use may cause burns!
→
The ceramic hob is not intended for use by persons (including children) of limited physical, sensory or
psychological capabilities or by persons who are inexperienced or have limited knowledge about the
appliance, unless they are supervised or unless they act according to the Manual, made available by
persons responsible for their safety.
→
The hob can be used only after fitting into a kitchen worktop.
→
Do not switch on cooking zones if there are no dish pots standing on them.
→
Do not hang any temperature-sensitive objects over the ceramic hob, including clothes, protective gloves,
sponges etc.
→
Make sure that the power cord does not touch any hot places of the ceramic hob.
→
Make sure that small household appliances and their power cords do not touch directly the heated hob, as
the insulation is not high temperature resistant.
→
Make sure the cut off switch is accessible after the ceramic hob has been fitted in.
→
It is not recommended to install the hob near cooling appliances.
→
Do not leave the hob unattended during frying. Oils and fats may ignite due to overheating or boiling over.
→
Do not allow the hob to get dirty or to become flooded by boiled over food. In particular it applies to sugar,
which comes into reaction with a ceramic hob and may cause irreversible damage. Immediately clean up
any dirt from the hob.
→
Sugar, citric acid, salt, both in solid and liquid state should not come into contact with a heated cooking
zone.
→
If, accidentally, sugar or plastic comes into contact with the hot hob, do not switch off the hob under no
circumstances but remove sugar or plastic with a sharp scraper for ceramic plats. Protect hands from burns
and cuts.
→
It is forbidden to put pots with wet bottom on the hob as they may cause irreversible hob damage
(discoloration).
→
It is forbidden to use pots with sharp edges that may damage the ceramic hob.
→
Do not put pots of a total weight over 25kg on the ceramic hob.
→
Use only pots and pans which are clean and have flat and dry bottom, without any sharp edges or feather
edges, as they may cause permanent scratches to appear.
→
If the surface of the hob is cracked, immediately disconnect the appliance from the mains and close the cut
off valve on the gas cylinder or a shut-off cock in the gas supply system supplying the hob with gas.
→
Do not use the defective hob. All faults shall be repaired by authorized servicemen only.
→
In all circumstances caused by a technical fault, immediately disconnect the appliance from the mains and
close the cut off valve on the gas cylinder or a shut-off cock in the gas supply system supplying the hob with
gas and report the fault to a service center.
→
It is absolutely forbidden to have the ceramic hob modified by authorized persons.
→
It is absolutely forbidden to have the ceramic hob adopted for use of other gas types and have the supply
system modified. The modifications can only be made by an authorized fitter.
→
All hob settings will be cancelled after power failure. Be careful when the power supply is restored.
→
Residual temperature indicator, built into the ceramic hob control system, shows whether the hob / cooking
zone is switched on and if it is still hot.
→
In case of any suspected gas leak DO NOT: light matches, smoke cigarettes, switch on or off any electric
devices (e.g. doorbells or light switches) and use other electrical or mechanical devices making an electric
or hit spark to appear. In such case immediately close the cut off valve on the gas cylinder or a shut-off
cock in the gas supply system supplying the hob with gas and air the room. Then call an authorized service
center to remove the cause of the leak.

Do not connect any aerial cables of e.g. radio sets, to the gas supply system.
→
If gas leaking from the gas supply system is ignited, immediately close the gas supply system using the cut
off valve on the gas cylinder or a shut-off cock in the gas supply system supplying the hob with gas.
→
If gas leaking from a cut-off valve on the gas cylinder is ignited put a wet blanket over the cylinder to cool it
down and close the cylinder valve. When the bottle is cooled it should be brought outdoors. Do not use a
damaged cylinder again.
