Note: To achieve the most flexibility and still maintain the use of a manual speed potentiometer for the
just in case scenario the speed setting signal is wired into the same terminal as the manual speed
setting potentiometer, The relay serves to connect either the speed potentiometer or the PLC speed
signal to the input terminal. Therefore the speed potentiometer wire connection to the input terminal of
the speed control is now routed through the relay. With the relay
not
energized the Speed
Potentiometer is in control.
