Syntax Items Description
<NAME> - Set the name of the access list (ACL).
To configure detailed settings, enter the name of ACL to access into
next level.
<config>#mac acl <NAME>
Then, available sub-commands are:
<config-mac-acl>#deny
<config-mac-acl>#do
<config-mac-acl>#end
<config-mac-acl>#exit
<config-mac-acl>#permit
<config-mac-acl>#sequence mac acl
Use the “deny” command to add deny rules for the MAC access list:
<A:B:C:D:E:F>/<A:B:C:D:E:F ><A:B:C:D:E:F>/<A:B:C:D:E:F> -
Specify the source and destination MAC addresses and subnet
masks.
cos <0-7><0-7> - Set the cos value and the cos mask for a packet.
<0x0600-0xFFFF> - Set the EtherType of the packet.
Shutdown – Disable the Ethernet interface.
vlan <1-4094> - Specify the VLAN ID of the packet.
any – Any MAC address.
