Menu Functions

Pump

Only available in TVOC mode.
The function

» Pump «

turns the pump on and off.

The detector is turned off when you turn the pump off. This prevents
the detector from being damaged when there is no sample ﬂowing
through the detector.

When the pump and the detector are off, the meter display will conti-
nue to read normally but the instantaneous reading is at 0.0. Turn the
pump and detector off when concentration measurements are not
necessary, and the Multi-PID 2 will only be used for setup or
reviewing data. By operating the instrument with the pump and detec-
tor off when you do not need them, you will conserve the battery and
ultraviolet (UV) lamp.
