● Storing/updating/restoring mail and
images at the Data Security Center
To store mail and images stored in the FOMA
terminal, select “ お預かりセンターに保存 ” from the
function menu in the mail list screen (P.144) or the
image list screen (P.266).
● Checking the communication log with
the Data Security Center
z You can check up to 30 communication logs. If the
maximum number of logs is exceeded, logs are
overwritten starting with the oldest one.
z On the communication log detail screen, the
transmission results, dates, transmission details,
data sizes, sending results to the Data Security
Center, reception results of the mobile phone and
number of data files left in the Data Security Center
appear.

Resetting the Function
Settings
<Reset settings>
You can reset the FOMA terminal’s function settings
to the defaults set at the time of purchase.
z For details on the functions that are reset, refer to
“Menu Function List” (P.368).
z When the FOMA terminal is connected to an
external device such as a PC, the setting of “USB
mode setting” is not reset to the default setting.
z
To reset the functions below to default, run Reset
settings in each function:

z You cannot store SMS stored on a FOMA card at the
Data Security Center.
z i-mode mail has any attached files deleted when being
stored.
z Received mail has any inserted images, that are
restricted from being output to outside the FOMA
terminal, deleted when being stored.
z The “Color coding” setting is not stored.
<Images>
z You cannot store images totaling over 100K bytes per
single item, images restricted from being output to
outside the FOMA terminal, or Deco-mail pictures and
Decorate PI stored at time of purchase.
