Using auto timer
Since the shutter is automatically released after the
specified number of second has elapsed, you can
take your own picture and avoid blurring of images
due to camera shake.
・
The number of seconds until the shutter is
released can be set in Still image Setting or
Recording Setting.

Point the camera at the object and press

The countdown sound is heard and the auto
timer starts countdown. The indicator and
counter show an estimate of the remaining time
before shooting and the remaining number of
seconds. The interval of sounds becomes shorter
as the shooting time approaches. After the
specified number of seconds has elapsed, the
shutter sound is heard and shooting is started.
・
During countdown, the camera indicator
flashes in red and the sub-display flashes in
green. The intervals of flashing become shorter
as the shooting time approaches.
・
A countdown sound is heard even when
SILENT
is set for the ring alert volume or while
Silent Mode or Public mode (Driving mode) is
on. The countdown sound volume cannot be
changed.
・
To stop the auto timer on the way:

・
Closing FOMA terminal during countdown
stops shooting.
・
The shooting stops if a call arrives, the time set
for the alarm clock or schedule reminder
arrives, or
b
is pressed during countdown.
Shooting nearby object
Macro
To shoot an object from a very short distance with the
out-camera, switch the macro mode switch to
(Macro).
・
Slide the switch until it stops at the
side.
・
When shooting, keep a distance of 7 to 10 cm in
the macro mode or at least 50 cm in the normal
mode.
・
In the macro mode, you can shoot in the same
way as the usual mode.
・
At the end of shooting in the macro mode,
remember to turn the macro mode switch back to
(normal mode). If you shoot a distant object
without canceling
(Macro), you cannot get a
sharp picture.
・
Even if you switch to
(Macro), the shooting
distance for the in-camera remains the same.
Changing the settings during shooting
Scene mode/effect, brightness, color density,
frames, quality, size restrictions or image size can
be set.
・
The following settings will be kept even if you
finish using Camera or Movie camera.

Each time you press,

videos are the same
as in normal
shooting.
