The lubrication cycle duration is 3 hours.

The number of lubrication strokes is one

outlet
and

pump
cycle.
The default settings result in an emptying time (service life) for a full lubricant cartridge with a
content of 400 cm³ of approx. 337.5 days (= approx. 11 months) when using an FP 250/400 OLED with
one (1) outlet, provided that the FP 250/400 OLED is permanently switched on and no extraordinary
lubrication strokes have been carried out, e.g. by the filling or Quick-Check menu. In this case, a pump
cycle is triggered by the FP 250/400 OLED at the beginning of the set lubrication cycle duration of 3
hours. The emptying time depends on the number of outlets of the present FP 250/400 OLED and the
selected cartridge size.
If you use the FP 250/400 OLED with one (1) lubricant outlet, a pump cycle of one lubrication
stroke from the one outlet is performed at the beginning of the lubrication cycle duration. If you use
the FP 250/400 OLED with two (2) lubricant outlets, a pump cycle of one lubrication stroke per outlet
is performed at the beginning of the lubrication cycle duration. The emptying time (service life) of the
cartridge is halved.
Determine whether the default settings apply to your application and whether the lubrication point is
supplied with the correct amount of lubricant per time unit.
If this is the case, you can operate the FP 250/400 OLED in the operating mode Setting lubrication
cycle duration with the basic settings.
If this is
not
the case, change the values for the lubrication cycle duration t
SZ
and/or the number of
lubrication strokes C accordingly. This chapter explains how to make these changes.
To use the FP 250/400 OLED, it must first be properly mounted and installed and then switched on.
Mounting is very simple and described in detail in Chap. 5; switching on is described in Chap. 6.3.1.
