FAULT REMEDY
5. None of the platform movements is operational, although the engine is running.
Key switch Q1 in the main centre – platform
control centre
/ lower control centre is in wrong position. Select the correct operating location using
the switch Q1.
Platform control centre: Pedal (DMS) is not
active. Re-activate the pedal, and
check that the signal light is
illuminated.
Lower control centre: The selector switch for
speed (S23) has not been turned. Turn the switch to either the “Rabbit”or
“Tortoise” position while you operate the
movement.
Hydraulic oil level is too low. Check the oil level, and top up as necessary
with the boom in the transport position.
Fuse F6 or F7 has blown. Fuses are in the control centre LCB, replace
the fuse.
6. Disturbance of platform movements - only one of the movements is operational
During driving, the following movements are
prevented:
- Lifting/lowering the boom
- Retracting/extending the telescope
- Lifting/lowering the articulated arms
Stop and retry.
When operating from the
platform, check whether a
flashing code is active. In accordance with the code, check wiring of
either the joystick or the valve. If the flashing
code is shown, see point “Error codes of the
electric control system”.
Irregular and indefinite malfunctions.
Check that the hydraulic oil and the filters
have been changed.
Thoroughly clean the solenoid valve spools
and housings (requires utmost cleanliness -
not all contaminants can be spotted with the
naked eye).
Also temporary contact failures in the
joysticks may cause malfunctions.
Spray with moisture repellent.
