Time Setting
Generally, all broadcasters in each State sends
the correct GMT referenced time and date
information with the program and therefore no
adjustment off this Menu item is necessary.
Time Setting
allows the State and GMT User
options to be modified if required. The GMT User
option allows the GMT + daylight saving offset to
be specified. The
GMT (Auto)
option should be
selected for normal operation.
1. Select
Setup
from the
MAIN MENU
and press
ENTER.
2. Select Time Setting using the Ç or È
buttons and press ENTER.
Time Offset
is
highlighted.
3. Press ENTER. The Aus Region option is
highlighted. Sometimes
Aus Region
may not
be selected. To select it, use the Ç or È
buttons and press ENTER
4. Press ENTER.
State
is highlighted.
5. Select the State you live in using the Å or Æ
buttons and then press ENTER.
6. Select
GMT User
using the Ç or È buttons
and press ENTER. GMT Offset is highlighted.
7. Adjust the
GMT Offset
(GMT + daylight
saving offset) using the Å or Æ buttons to
the required value and then press ENTER. As
a general rule the maximum offset for any
Australian State will be +2 or –2 of GMT.
8.
GMT User
is now used as the local time
reference.
9. Press the EXIT button to clear any menus and
return to normal viewing.
