Disc Setup
Using Disc Setup
The Disc Setup allows for specific configuration
settings of the Hard Disc Drive (HDD) and basic
Transport Control options.
HDD Information
Displays information related to the current Hard
Disc Drive configuration including the number
of Recorded Titles, remaining HDD size and HDD
temperature.
HDD Format
Formatting, essentially configures the HDD for
the recording and storage of data.
Caution: When
the HDD format option is used, all files stored
on the HDD are deleted and cannot then be
recovered.
1. Select
Disc Setup
from the
MAIN MENU
and
press ENTER.
2. Select
HDD Format
using the Ç or È buttons
and press ENTER.
3. Enter your or the default password – 0000
using the numeric keypad on the RCU.
4. Confirm Format by selecting Yes .
5. Press the EXIT button to clear any menus and
return to normal viewing.
