All details of the
AB
segments that you specify
for deletion are shown within the Timeline and
also in the
Mark In – Mark Out section. To
move or pause within the Timeline use either
or both, the
Transport Control buttons and/or
the
Jump Time
option. The
Jump Time
option
is displayed when the JUMP TO button on the
RCU is pressed. For more information on the
Transport Control
buttons refer to the section on
Trick and Transport Control Modes
.
Note:
•
If Jump Time is used while editing, ensure
to disabled it before attempting to confirm
any
AB
segment deletion. Deleting is
not possible if the Jump Time option is
displayed. To disable the
Jump Time
option
press the JUMP TO button.
Jump Time
should not now be displayed.
Editing a Recorded Title
1. After selecting the Recorded Title, playback
commences from the beginning in the Video
Preview Window.
2. To edit the Recorded Title from the very start
of the title, press the

REVERSE CONTROLLED
SKIP button until TITLE START is shown in the
status display. The Recorded Title pauses.
3. Press

PLAY to start playing the title. Use
the Transport Controls and/or the JUMP TO
button to move to the required start position
in the Timeline.

If the JUMP TO button is pressed, the
Jump
Time
dialogue box is displayed. Enter the
appropriate time value in (Hours:Minutes:
Seconds) using the numeric keypad on the
RCU.
4. Press the MARK IN/OUT button. This is the
Mark IN or
A
position from where the deletion
will start.
5. Continue playing the Recorded Title or use the
Transport Controls and/or the JUMP TO button
to move to the required end position in the
Timeline.
6. Press the MARK IN/OUT button again. This
is the Mark Out or B position to where the
deletion will end. This is now the
AB
segment
marked for deletion.
