7. VARIABLE SPEED, BI-DIRECTIONAL SLOW
MOTION VIEWING – Any current recording can
be viewed in forward or reverse Slow Motion.
Three incremental speeds are available for
each direction.
•
Press
;
PAUSE. . The Live TV video and audio
stop and a single video frame is displayed.
•
Press either the

FAST REWIND button for
Reverse Slow motion or
8
FAST FORWARD for
Forward Slow Motion. To increase the speed
of motion press the appropriate button again
and up to three times.
•
Press the

PLAY button to return to normal
viewing.
8. FRAME-BY-FRAME VIEWING – Any current
recording can be viewed Frame-by-Frame in
forward motion.
•
Press

PAUSE. . The Live TV video and audio
stop and a single video frame is displayed.
•
Press

PAUSE repeatedly to move forward
frame-by-frame.
•
Press the

PLAY button to return to normal
viewing.
Bookmarking During Recording or Playback
A Bookmark is a means of inserting reference
points within a Program Title that can be recalled
later. When a Bookmark is recalled, playback
continues from the selected Bookmark.
1. While recording or in playback, press the
BOOKMARK button. Up to eight Bookmarks
for each Program Title is allowed. All
Bookmarks are saved with the Recorded Title.
2. To recall a Bookmark while recording, press
the Å or Æ buttons.
3. To view a previous Recorded Title with
Bookmarks, press the REC LIST button and
select the required title to play.
4. To recall a Bookmark during playback, press
the Å or Æ buttons.

To edit or delete Bookmarks from a Recorded
Title refer to the
Disc Navigator
option in
the
MAIN MENU
.
