Recording Programs Using the Schedule Timers.
The unattended recording of programs can be
achieved by using the Schedule Timer functions
provided in the DVR-810. The Timer functions
can be accessed directly by way of the RCU or
by selection from the MAIN MENU. All time
and date information used by the DVR-810 is
referenced to the broadcasters “time stamp”.
There are two types of Discrete Timers that can
be used, these being, EASY TIMER and TIMER REC
(Timer Record).
EASY TIMER allows for single entry Timer
programming, in 15-minute increments, and is
shown as a bar graph.
TIMER REC is used for multiple timer entry and
scheduling (i.e. daily weekly etc.) and can be
programmed in increments of 1 minute.
Using the EASY TIMER Function for Scheduled
Recordings
1. Press the EASY TIMER button. The EASY TIMER
main dialogue box is shown.
2. Press the

button to move to the Start
Time (in increments of 15 minutes) and press
ENTER.
3. Press the Æ button again to move to the End
Time (in increments of 15 minutes)
4. Press ENTER. A bar-graph shows the total
duration of the scheduled recording time
5. Select YES or NO to confirm the Timer Setup
using the
Å
or
Æ
buttons.
6. Press ENTER.
7. To stop a Recording, Press the
<
STOP button.
8. Press the Å or Æ buttons to select one of the
Save options - Rename, Yes or No.
9. Press ENTER
Note:
•
To EXIT the EASY TIMER at any time, press
the EXIT button until the timer dialogue
screens are cleared.
