3.4 Removing the RX26 Diskette Drive Assembly

Captive Screw

7. Lift the left side of the RX26 diskette drive assembly and pull the diskette

drive assembly to the left until the tabs on the right side of the mounting

bracket are clear of the cutouts in the lower drive-mounting shelf.

8. Lift the RX26 diskette drive assembly out of the BA42B Enclosure.

3.4.1 Removing the RX26 FDI/SCSI Board

To remove the FDI/SCSI board from the RX26 mounting bracket, follow these

steps:
1. Disconnect the ribbon cable that connects the RX26 diskette drive to the

RX26 FDI/SCSI board.

2. Turn the RX26 diskette drive assembly over so that the base of the

mounting bracket faces up.
