7.19 Option X59 (braking angle display)
Principle
This function gauges the braking angle of a press, starting from the braking command up to the
actual standstill.
Description
Via an input (track 13) at the LOCON the braking command is recorded.
The process angle is measured from the leading edge of the input pulse on, up to the standstill of
the machine (speed = 0).
This value is then presented on the display for ten seconds (Fxxx - flashing).
If this value exceeds the set “max. angle“ (adjustable from 0 to 99 in the initialization menu), the
“Error 29“ is displayed additionally and the run-control-relay becomes inactive.
This error can be confirmed with
and the process starts all over again.
7.20 Option X81 (24 Bit SSI-encoder)
In connection with the option X81 a regular 24-Bit Multiturn encoder can be used. However, only
the front disc is evaluated. Consequently it acts as if a Singleturn encoder was connected.
7.21 Special versions

TERM 24 described in this manual, we offer customized adaptations and special versions, as is
