4.2.2- Output of triggered extinction warning sign
The extinguishing panel has an output for the triggered extinction warning sign in the
main board labeled as OPT, this output allows a total current of 500 mA.
The wiring of the OPT output must begin in the panel socket nd end in the end-of-line
resistor (4K7 Ohm). In case you don’t want to use this output, you must place the end-
of-line resistor in the OPT output terminals to avoid an OPT fault signal in our system.
In case you use non-polarized signs, it is required to install a 1N4007 diode for avoiding
problems of impedance adaptation.
4.2.3- State 1 and 2 sounder output (1ST and 2ST)
The extinguishing panel has an output for the state 1 sounder (pre activated state) and
an output for the state 2 sounder (activated state) , this output allows a total current of
500 mA.
The wiring of these outputs is exactly the same of the general sounder output.
4.2.4- Extincton MCP inputs (MCP START, ABORT and HOLD)
The extinguishing panel has 3 inputs for the extinction buttons. Their functions are “
Manual Extinction triggering” (MCP START) “Abort extinction process” (MCP ABORT)
and “Stop the extinction process” (MCP HOLD).
It is recommended to install the buttons along with the risk zone. These must be clearly
visible, identified and accessible.
The buttons must contain the alarm level resistor, otherwise you should connect it
internally ( 100 Ohm 2W). A 4K7 resistor must be placed in the end of the line.
In case you don’t want to use all the MCP inputs of the system, it is necessary to place
the end-of-line resistor to the MCP inputs terminal to avoid an MCP fault signal from
the panel.
