10 Flood the pump and open the manual valves of the suction
and delivery conduit.
11 Briefly start-up the pump motor and visually check the
rotation direction through the fan grate.
12 If the rotation direction is correct (clockwise on the fan side
of the motor) it will coincide with the indications on the plate
and the operation will be completed
13 If the rotation direction is wrong, disconnect the power
supply from the motor and proceed as described in paragraph
7: CONNECTION OF SINGLE-PHASE MOTOR or in
paragraph 8: CONNECTION OF THREE-PHASE MOTOR, in
order to invert the motor rotation direction; afterwards repeat
the checks in point 9 to 12.
14. Protect the pump and suction and delivery pipes from
possible, accidental knocks from moving vehicles or materials
that could damage it and/or react when in contact with it.
15 Protect the environment and people by installing a shield;
discharge and collect any fluid leakage due to accidental
breakdown of the pump, conveying it to a safe and protected
area.
Power connection and rotation direction checks are now
completed.
10 Imergir a bomba e abrir as válvulas manuais do duto de
aspiração e saída.
11 Arrancar por um curto instante o motor da bomba e verifi-
car visualmente, pela grade da ventoinha do motor, o sentido
de rotação.
12 Se o sentido de rotação for correto (horário lado ventoinha
motor) coincidirá com a etiqueta posicionada e a operação
será considerada terminada.
13 Se o sentido de rotação resultar contrário, será preciso
cortar a alimentação à montante e operar como descrito no
parágrafo “7 LIGAÇÃO PARA MOTOR MONOFÁSICO” ou “8
LIGAÇÃO PARA MOTOR TRIFÁSICO” para inverter o sen-
tido de rotação do motor. Em seguida, repetir os controles
indicados pelos pontos de 9 a 12.
14 Proteger sempre a bomba e a tubulação de aspiração e
saída contra possíveis choques, provocados acidentalmente
por veículos em movimento ou materiais diversos contunden-
tes, que poderiam danificá-las e/ou reagir ao contato.
15 Proteger o ambiente e as pessoas com a instalação de um
anteparo de proteção, em caso de avarias acidentais da bom-
ba, que contenha e colete o produto em caso de vazamento
e encaminhe os fluidos para uma área protegida e segura.
A ligação elétrica e o controle do sentido de rotação estarão
concluídos.
