The dashboard unit (4.1) is preassembled with the carrier plate (5),
the clamp (8.1) attached to that plate, and the handle (7) with
the integrated hand pulse sensors (7a) (including the connection
cable 7b). First insert the clamp (8.1) into the lateral slots at
the upper end of the column (2), without fastening, to position
the whole unit. You might need to exert some pressure to insert
the rear tongue (8a) of the clamp because of tolerances or
the paint layer thickness.

You must pay attention to avoid jamming the
cable (3) in the handle column (2)!

We recommend pulling the cable (3) to the left (when
looking at the rear side of the dashboard) and upward,
beside the spacer sleeve of the fastening screw (C) of
the rear tongue (8a) of the clamp. You may only release
the handle (7) after you have tightened both of the M8 recessed
head screws (C) with their washers (D) in order to secure
a stable stand on the column (2). Unscrew the front screw (8b)
attaching the complete dashboard unit (4.1) to the handle (7) until
the handle (7) starts moving freely and falls to its front stop
position due to its own weight.

After plugging the cable connectors in the
rear side of the dashboard, raise the dashboard
holder (6) all the way up. Align carefully the
dashboard cables (3 & 7b) very closely to
the clamp (8a) in the area of the holder.

The dashboard holder (6) is attached to
the dashboard housing (4.1) by pressing
the clip on the front. Additionally, you can
screw two small self-boring screws (H) with
washers (J) through the protective plate (5) into
the dashboard housing (4.1).

Please pay extra attention to avoid
jamming the cables in the narrow
passages within the dashboard holder
and between the carrier plate (5) and
the holder (6)!

Finally, screw the tensing lever (6a) with
its washer (E) to fasten the handle (7).
Bring the handle (7) to the required position
within its adjusting range and then fasten it
using the tensing lever (6a).

Follow the same steps in reverse order
to disassemble the dashboard unit.

Plug the black connector (CS) of the dashboard cable (3)
to the corresponding black socket (CS-2) on the circuit
board (within the lower opening in the housing and
the protective plate). Then p

the white connector (HS)

of the hand pulse cable (7b), which is connected to the hand
pulse sensors (7a), to the corresponding white socket (HS-2)
within the same opening in the housing.
