3.26 Navigating the Hot Menu

The diagram above is a screenshot of the “Hot Menu” feature of the

DFX-7

. The Hot

Menu’s contain all the most regularly adjusted features of the gauge. The primary
purpose of the design, was to provide the user with an efficient way to make
adjustments on the fly during inspections. The following procedure outlines the steps
to navigate and make adjustments as follows:

Hot Menu

Gate1

1) Press the

MEAS

key once to activate the

Hot Menu

. Press the

MEAS

key

multiple times to advance the cell right, and the

ESC

key multiple times to

advance the cell left, until the

WIDTH1

cell is highlighted.
