15.3 Solving problems based on symptoms
15.3.1 Symptom: The unit is NOT heating as expected
Possible causes Corrective action
The temperature setting is NOT correct Check the temperature setting on the
remote controller. For more
information, see the operation manual.
The water or central water loop flow is
too low Check and make sure that:
▪ All shut-off valves of the water or
central water loop circuit are
completely open.
▪ The water and central water loop
filters are clean. Clean if necessary
(see
"14.2.2 Yearly maintenance:
instructions" [ 4 220]).
▪ There is no air in the system. Purge air
if necessary (see
"12.4.1 Air purge
function on the water circuit" [ 4 210]
and "12.4.2 Air purge on the central
water loop circuit" [ 4 212]).
▪ The water pressure is >1 bar.
▪ The expansion vessel is NOT broken.
▪ The resistance in the water circuit is
NOT too high for the pump.
▪ The pressure independent control
valve measures at least 33 kPa
differential pressure.
If the problem persists after you have
conducted all of the above checks,
contact your dealer. In some cases, it is
normal that the unit decides to use a
low water flow.
The water volume in the installation is
too low Make sure that the water volume in the
installation is above the minimum
required value (see
"8.1.3 To check the
water volume and flow rate of the
space heating circuit and the central
water loop circuit"
