B. WHEN REASSEMBLING

NOTE:

•

Installation is carried out in reverse order of removal.

1. Install new O-rings on body of MLS valve if required.

2. Orient MLS valve so that the mounting holes line up

with the appropriate holes in the housing with the
MLS towards the bottom of the housing (See re-
moval story step)

3. Lubricate MLS valve bore in housing with hydraulic

oil and being careful not to damage O-rings, slide
MLS valve into housing. Secure with two capscrews.

3. Remove two cap screws (2) securing MLS valve (1)

to housing.

4. Remove MLS valve from housing taking care not to

damage O-rings on valve body.

5. Disassemble and inspect MLS valve.

AND INSTALLATION

A. REMOVE

1. Remove the snap ring (1) from the universal joint

(2) on the Hydraulic control shaft.

2. Remove the pin (3) from the universal Joint (2).
