xStack Gigabit Layer 3 Switch Command Line Interface Manual 

enable snmp traps 

support on the Switch. 

Parameters None. 

Restrictions Only 

administrator-level users can issue this command. 

Example usage:  

 

To enable SNMP trap support on the Switch: 

DGS-3324SRi:4#enable snmp traps

enable snmp authenticate_traps 

Purpose 

Used to enable SNMP authentication trap support. 

Syntax 

enable snmp authenticate_traps 

Description 

This command is used to enable SNMP authentication trap 
support on the Switch. 

Parameters None. 

Restrictions Only 

administrator-level users can issue this command. 

Example Usage: 

To turn on SNMP authentication trap support: 

DGS-3324SRi:4#enable snmp authenticate_traps 

Command: enable snmp authenticate_traps
