reception of RIP packets. 

state [enable | disable]

 Allows RIP to be enabled and disabled 

on the Switch. 

Restrictions Only 

administrator-level users can issue this command.

v1_only

 Specifies that only RIP v1 packets will be 

transmitted. 

• 

v2_only

 - Specifies that only RIP v2 packets will be 

transmitted. 

• 

v1_or_v2 

- Specifies that only RIP v1 or v2 packets will be 

transmitted. 

Example Usage: 

To change the RIP receive mode for the IP interface System:
