enable ipif

Purpose

Used to enable an IP interface on the switch.

Syntax

enable ipif {<ipif_name>/all}

Description

This command, along with the disable ipif
command below, allows you to enable or
disable an IP interface on the switch without
changing its configuration.

Parameters

<ipif_name>

−

The name of the IP interface

you want to enable.

all

−

Specifies that all IP interfaces

configured on the switch will be enabled.

Restrictions

Only administrator-level users can issue
this command.

Example Usage:
