DES-3000 Series Layer 2 Switch CLI Reference Manual

config multicast filtering_mode

Purpose

Used to configure the multicast packet filtering mode for the Switch.

Syntax

config multicast filtering_mode [forward_unregistered_groups |
filter_unregistered_groups]

Description

This command will configure the multicast packet filtering mode on the
Switch.

Parameters

[forward_unregistered_groups | filter_unregistered_groups]

– The user may

set the filtering mode to any of these two options.

Restrictions Only

administrator-level users can issue this command.

Example usage:

To configure the multicast filtering mode to filter unregistered groups.
