show snmp host
Purpose
Used to display the recipient of SNMP traps generated by the
Switch’s SNMP agent.
Syntax
show snmp host {<ipaddr>}
Description
The
show snmp host
command is used to display the IP addresses
and configuration information of remote SNMP managers that are
designated as recipients of SNMP traps that are generated by the
Switch’s SNMP agent.
Parameters
<ipaddr>
−
The IP address of a remote SNMP manager that will
receive SNMP traps generated by the Switch’s SNMP agent.
Restrictions None.
Example usage:
To display the currently configured SNMP hosts on the Switch:
DES-3026:4#show snmp host
Command: show snmp host
SNMP Host Table
Host IP Address SNMP Version Community Name / SNMPv3 User Name

enable rmon
Purpose
Used to enable RMON on the Switch.
Syntax
enable rmon
Description
This command is used, in conjunction with the
disable rmon
command below, to enable and disable remote monitoring (RMON)
on the Switch.
Parameters None.
Restrictions Only
administrator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To enable RMON:
DES-3026:4#enable rmon
Command: enable rmon
Success.
