config router_ports
Used to configure ports as router ports.
Syntax
config router_ports <vlan_name 32> [add | delete] <portlist>
Description
This command allows you to designate a range of ports as being connected
to multicast-enabled routers. This will ensure that all packets with such a
router as its destination will reach the multicast-enabled router

regardless
of protocol, etc.
Parameters
<vlan_name 32>

The name of the VLAN on which the router port resides.
<portlist>
−
Specifies a port or range of ports that will be configured as
router ports.
[add | delete]
– Specify whether to add or delete ports defined in the
following parameter
<portlist>
, to the router port function.
Restrictions
Purpose

administrator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To set up static router ports:

enable igmp_snooping
Purpose
Used to enable IGMP snooping on the Switch.
Syntax
enable igmp_snooping {forward_mcrouter_only}
Description
This command allows you to enable IGMP snooping on the Switch. If
forward_mcrouter_only
is specified, the Switch will only forward all
multicast traffic to the multicast router, only. Otherwise, the Switch forwards
all multicast traffic to any IP router.
Parameters
forward_mcrouter_only

Specifies that the Switch should only forward all
multicast traffic to a multicast-enabled router. Otherwise, the Switch will
forward all multicast traffic to any IP router.
Restrictions Only
administrator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
