The following screen appears:

Step 2 - Press <Enter> for all fields but the 

Maximum rate of incoming bytes 

per second

 field. 

Step 3 - Between the brackets following the 

Maximum rate of incoming bytes 

per second

 field, type the maximum amount of bytes that can be received by 

the interface per second.

A value of zero disables the feature. Enter a value of 50000 for optimum 
performance. 

Note:

Using larger values does not harm your system but makes it 
more sensible to storms. Using smaller values, however, can 
trigger this feature be triggered by the normal equipment 
traffic.
