Chapter 1

Basic Network Configuration

This chapter describes the procedures for setting up the basic network configuration to
make AlterPath ACS available on the network. In addition, it provides procedures to
login, change the default password, and setup the security profile.

Configuring network setting using the vi method or the CLI method are described in
Chapter 4, “Network” in detail.
