Additional Features and Applications

Edit the file

/etc/hosts.lpd

and include the hosts name that you allow to user the

ACS printers.

NOTE:

(The lpd needs to translate the IP address of the request message to the host name,

check your resolv.conf file).

Step 5 - Restart the processes, use the command "runconf" and "daemon.sh".

Step 6 - Save the configuration in flash, use the command "saveconf".

In your Linux client machine type the following command to check the ACS

configuration is OK:

# lpr -P lp@<ACS IP address> <file that you want printer> <enter>
