5. Installation

 Cycle Plus Pan Feeder

Auger Installation

The power drive unit 

should not

 be installed on the base coupler, but a crank assembly is to be installed 

in its place instead. Feed the auger by hand into one end of the tubing to the crank assembly. Use the 
crank assembly to aid in feeding the auger through the tubing to the other end. Repeat the above for the 
other line of tubing in the loop.

Be careful when handling the auger coil so as not to kink the auger. Inspect the auger as it is being fed 
into the tubing. If a kink is found it must be cut out and the auger brazed back together. 

(See Figure 5S.)

IMPORTANT: Do not use the drive units to install the auger.
