7.2.3 Switching the FHR Alarm On or Off
Always check if the alarm settings are appropriate for your patient before starting to monitor.
If the fetal heart alarm is switched off, the F9 Monitor will no longer give any audible or visual
warning for this monitoring item.
1) Select the Setup key
on the main interface.
2) Select
Alarm
FHR1
or
FHR2
Alarm
.
3) Select
ON
(default) or
OFF
.
4) Select
OK
.
If the FHR1 or FHR2 alarm is switched off, an alarm switched-off symbol
will appear in the
numeric window. For example:
WARNING
:
Do not disable the alarm for the condition where the patient’s safety may
be endangered.
7.2.4 Changing the FHR Alarm Limits
The alarm limits you set determine the parameters that trigger the alarm.
1) Select the Setup key
on the main interface.
2) Select
Alarm
FHR1
or
FHR2
.
3) Select a value from 50 ~ 205 bpm for the
Lower Limit
; the increment is 5 and the default is
120 bpm.
4) Select a value from 55 ~ 210 bpm for the
Upper Limit
; the increment is 5 and the default is
160 bpm.
5) Select
OK
.
7.2.5 Changing the FHR Alarm Delay
The alarm delay indicates how long the measured result continues exceeding its limit before the
alarm is triggered.
1) Select the Setup key
on the main interface.
2) Select
Alarm
FHR1
or
FHR2
Alarm Delay
.
3) Select a value from 0 ~ 300 second(s); the increment is 5 and the default is 10 seconds.
4) Select
OK
.
