4.1 Cleaning and servicing schedule
Clogged filters and mist collectors
Risk of a fire hazard due to inadequate cleaning
Grease can ignite if there are flying sparks and the hood as not been adequately cleaned.
Clean the baffle filters and mist collectors according to the cleaning instructions.
Follow cleaning instructions to clean those case parts that become accessible when the baffle filters
and mist collectors are removed.
Contact with cleaning agents
Risk of skin and eye irritation / chemical skin burns
Direct contact with cleaning agents poses a risk of irritation or burns to the skin and eyes.
Do not inhale the spray mist.
Do not let the cleaning agent come into contact with eyes or skin.
Do not heat the appliance if it contains a cleaning.
Let the appliance cool down before spraying cleaning into the appliance.
Wear protective gloves and safety goggles in accordance with the specifications of the cleaning agent
manufacturer and the safety regulations indicated in the EC material safety data sheets.
Hot surfaces
Risk of burns from high temperatures on the inside of the hood
Touching the exhaust air distributor in the hood can cause hand burns.
Remove the baffle filters and the mist collectors only once the system has cooled down.
Carry out servicing tasks only once the system has cooled down.
Wear personal protective equipment as specified in safety regulations.

Required cleaning products
Common household, non-alkaline detergent that is gentle on the skin and is pH-neutral
Required materials
Sponge, sponge cloth, cleaning products in a suitable container, e.g. pail.
