3.1 Basic operating sequence
Hot steam / vapour
Risk of scalding from hot steam and vapour
Escaping hot steam and vapour can cause scalding to face, hands, feet and legs.
Open the appliance door as specified in the instructions. Never put your head inside the cooking
chamber.
Requirements
Check that the following requirements have been met:
The hood has been cleaned properly.
You are already conversant with the operating steps listed under "Operation" and "How to do it
correctly".
The hood is connected to the mains power supply (and hence ready to run).

Basic operating sequence
1.
Switch on the combi steamer.
Result:
The hood is in standby mode (factory preset).
2.
Place the food in the combi steamer and start a cooking
program.
Result:
The hood runs with the maximum fan extraction rate while
the appliance door is open in order to condense and
extract the steam.
20 seconds (factory preset) after closing the appliance
door, the hood switches back to fan speed 1.
3.
Select a cooking program that uses moisture removal
(Crisp&Tasty).
Result:
The hood runs with the maximum fan extraction rate as
soon as Crisp&Tasty starts.
20 seconds (factory preset) after deactivating
Crisp&Tasty, the hood switches back to fan speed 1.
4.
The cooking program has finished completely.
Result:
10 seconds before the cooking time ends, the hood
switches automatically to full fan extraction rate.
5.
After using the combi steamer, the hood switches off
automatically (factory preset).
