Relay
The XW-210 has an internal high-current relay. Screw terminals are provided for the

contacts of the relay. The screw terminals are internally connected directly to
the relay with no internal fuse or other over-current protection. The relay contacts are isolated from all
other circuits.
Digital Input
The XW-210 has an optically-isolated digital input. The optically-isolated input provides electrical isolation
between the digital input and the low voltage control circuits of the XW-210. The input can be used as a
pulse counter and has a built-in debounce of 20ms.
1-Wire Sensor Bus
The XW-210 works with “1-wire” digital temperature and other Xytronix 1-wire sensors. The sensors are
available in several configurations, are interchangeable and require no calibration. The sensors require
three connections for communications and power (+5V, Gnd, Data). Control relays or trigger email
messages based upon temperature and other sensor values.
Power Supply
The XW-210 employs modern switch-mode power supply which works from 9 to 28VDC. With this type
of power supply the current draw decreases as the voltage increases. The power supply voltage (+Vin) is
monitored internally and can be logged.
