XW-210 WiFi™ Users Manual
4.5 Logging Tab
XW-210 can be configured to record data such as sensor data and changes in I/O state. Both periodic
and event-based logging are supported. The logged data is stored in internal nonvolatile memory and
can be retrieved by entering the command http://{XW-210 IP address}/log.txt. For more information on
logging, see
Section 6.5: Log File
.
The log is stored in non-volatile flash memory using a circular buffer (old data is over written). 512-
Kbytes of memory space is reserved for logging. Log entries are composed of the following components,
5-byte header, 4-byte time stamp and 4 bytes for each sensor selected, 1-byte for input, 4-bytes for the
counter, 1-byte for relay and 4-bytes for Vin. A log of Vin 1 (4 bytes) and the digital input (1 byte) will
occupy 14 bytes per entry.
Note: Changing the log settings will erase the current log file.
Logging Enabled:
When this option is set to
Yes
, XW-210 will record data as configured on this page. The default setting
for this option is
No
.
LOGGING SETUP
Start Time:
If a logging interval is specified (periodic logging rather than event logging), logging will occur relative to
this start time. For example, if the start time is 01:00 and the logging rate is 6 hours, logging will occur at
01:00, 07:00, 13:00, and 19:00. Start time is specified in 24-hour time format. The default setting for this
field is 01:00.
