Portée radio
La portée de la transmission audio/vidéo dépend de beaucoup de facteurs différents. Dans le meilleur des cas, il est possible
d’atteindre jusqu’à 100 m par vue dégagée (entre les deux antennes), mais seulement 30 m maximum en intérieur. Il
n’est cependant pas possible de garantir cette portée, les conditions locales sur le lieu de montage pouvant l’influencer
négativement.
Les influences suivantes peuvent, par ex., être un facteur de dégradation de la portée :
Bâtiments en béton armé, plafonds en béton armé
Revêtement de fenêtres (fenêtres à faible consommation d’énergie), radiateurs
Lignes électriques
Appareils sur fréquence identique ou voisine
Appareils électriques mal blindés (ordinateurs avec « fenêtre de visualisation »).

1. Intended Use
The wireless camera system can used for video and audio surveillance of property and buildings. It is used for the surveillance
of concealed or critical areas (such as shop surveillance or in entrance areas), contributing to security in such areas.
If there is sufficient light, a colour picture is displayed. If light is insufficient, the infrared lighting is automatically switched on.
The video image then switches to black-and-white mode to improve sensitivity.
Please keep in mind that you will render yourself liable to prosecution if you use this camera to keep persons under
observation without their knowledge and approval. Wireless picture and sound transmit to the TFT monitor at frequency of
2.4 GHz (Giga Hertz).
The TFT monitor is designed for connection to the video or audio input of a TV set or video recorder (looping function). In
addition, you can also use the device to play back a matching audio or video source.
You can operate up to four wireless cameras on the system. The channels can be selected manually individually or
automatically via a scan function.
In order to facilitate reverse observation, the monitor image can be mirrored with the push of a key. The wireless camera
system is only licensed for connection to the supplied plug-in power adapters.
The weather-proof camera is licensed for outdoors use. The plug-in supply unit must, however, be protected against dampness
and wetness (weather-proof housing or similar). This wireless camera system is not suitable for industrial use.
Any usage other than described above is not permitted and can damage the product and lead to associated risks such as
short-circuit, fire, electric shock, etc. No part of the product may be modified or rebuilt. Please read the operating instructions
thoroughly and keep them for further reference.

3. Explanation of symbols
The following symbols must be observed:
The lightning symbol with arrowhead within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence
of uninsulated voltage within the device’s enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of
electrical shock to persons.
An exclamation mark within an equilateral triangle indicates important information in the operating instructions.
Carefully read the whole operating instructions before operating the device, otherwise there is risk of danger.
The “hand” symbol indicates special information and advice on operation of the device.
The device is only authorised for use in dry, sheltered environments.
The plug-in power adapters are constructed in compliance with protection class 2 (double or extra insulation).
