18. Troubleshooting
Even though the model and the remote control system were built to the state of the art, there may still be malfunctions
or faults. For this reason, we would like to give you some information on how to deal with possible problems.
Problem
Remedy
Transmitter doesn’t respond.
• Check the batteries in the transmitter.
• Check the polarity of the batteries/rechargeable batteries in the trans-
mitter.
• Check the on/off switch.
Transmitter switches off on its own at
once of after a short period.
• Check or replace the batteries/rechargeable batteries in the transmit-
ter or replace them or recharge the rechargeable batteries.
The transmitter does not show the oper-
ating display after activation.
• Put the pitch control stick in the bottom-most position.
• Re-calibrate the control stick.
Model does not react, LED in the heli-
copter flashes slowly.
• Check function of the remote control transmitter
• Perform activation of the model helicopter again.
Rotors do not start.
• Check flight battery charging state.
• Check ease of movement of the mechanics.
Helicopter does not lift off the ground.
• Check flight battery charging state.
• Check ease of movement of the drive mechanics.
• Replace flight battery.
Helicopter shows too little performance
or too short flight times.
• Check flight battery charging state.
• Check ease of movement of the drive mechanics.
• Replace flight battery.
Helicopter always flies in one direction. • Adjust transmitter trimming.
• Adjust swash plate.
• Difficult flight conditions (wind or draft).
• Re-calibrate the control stick.
Helicopter rotates around the vertical
axis (rotor shaft).
• Repeat switching on and ensure that the helicopter is not moved or
rotated.
• Adjust the tail trimming.
• Check ease of movement of the tail rotor.
