c) Checking the Screw Connections
Regularly check all screw connections of your helicopter for
tight fit.
Particularly observe the screws (1 and 2) at the rotor shaft.
Important:
When the lower screw at the rotor shaft does not
hold properly, the entire rotor shaft may slip down
in a hard touch-down. In the worst case, the motor
pinion will no longer interlock with the main pinion.
The screws at the blade holder levers(see figures 28 and 30,
item 3), must be tightened. The main rotor blades must not
move when you try to gently twist them against each other in
the longitudinal direction.
When replacing mechanical parts use only original spares available from the manufacturer.
