Hardware Controls and ConneCtIons

To start, we are going to go over all of the connections and controls of the ACCESS 2USB.

FIgure 1

Front panel dIagram and desCrIptIons

DISPLAY

– Touchscreen display that responds to the attached stylus. This is where you

initialize your broadcast from the 2USB to the studio unit (typically an ACCESS Rackmount),
view and edit settings and monitor connections.

STYLUS

- Used on the 2USB display for navigating and selecting options in the user interface.

BACKLIGHT KEY

- Controls operation of the display light.

Hold for one second to enable power saving mode, which turns the LCD backlight off
after ten seconds. In this mode, pressing the button again will turn the light on for
another ten seconds.

Hold for one second to enter toggle mode, where each short press will turn light on/
off.

Hold for one second to return to default “Always-on” mode.
