Removal and Replacement Procedures
System Board Assembly
The system board assembly contains the DIMMs, Pentium II or Pentium III processor/heat sink,
processor power module(s), system board with tray, the AGP Graphics Controller (if installed),
and the external battery (if installed). Each component is spared separately.
It is not necessary to fully remove the system board with tray from the chassis to replace system
board components, but you must extend it from the chassis in order to access some components.
System Board With Tray Components
The components on the system board with tray are illustrated in the following figure. Refer to
the corresponding table for component names.
