5. Transportation instructions
The machine is packed and delivered on a pallet. The machine has a net weight of
231 lbs (105 kg). The loca琀椀on of the machine’s center of gravity is shown in the adjacent
illustra琀椀on.
Never a琀琀empt to move the machine o昀昀 the pallet on your own. Seek the assistance of
others or use hois琀椀ng equipment.
5.2 Moving the machine manually
The machine is easy to move on all 昀氀at surfaces.
To do so, swing out the carrier handles and 琀椀ghten using the thumb screw (see illustra琀椀on).
It is essen琀椀al that the handles be fastened because when li昀琀ed the machine can 琀椀p forward,
especially on an uneven surface (center of gravity).
Take hold of the carrier handles with both hands, li昀琀 and then move the machine as you
would a wheelbarrow.
5.3 Transportation using a crane or hoist
If the machine is to be moved using a crane or similar hois琀椀ng equipment you must ensure
that the hois琀椀ng belt is of a suitable size. The machine comes with two lugs for a琀琀achment
to a crane. The lashing belt must be fed through these lugs.
