MULTIPLE MAIN COVER INSTALLATION: STRETCHING
END-TO-END
During the installation of an
additional
main cover (or covers), the straps used to stretch the cover end-to-end will share
the same center rafter as the adjacent cover. In the example shown below, the end of Cover #1 is laced to an interior
rafter. The end of Cover #2 is also laced to the same interior rafter. Cover view is from the inside of the building looking
up at the interior rafter where two covers meet. Repeat the previous steps to install another cover.
IMPORTANT:
As the straps are installed and tightened for the second cover, verify that a uniform distance is
maintained between the PVC and the common rafter. Distance should be similar to that of the adjacent cover. View the
rafters from the ground to verify that the distance remains uniform. See additional information in the example below.
After the stretch straps are secure, continue by tightening the side ratchets. (Frame differs from actual frame.)
